It is a modernization, where the players are Melbourne gang members. It was the most innovative production of Macbeth I think I've ever seen. I have never, for example, seen Macbeth seduced quite so literally by the weird sisters. Good stuff, but bloody. If you like Shakespeare and you don't mind a little blood and guts, you'll be missing out if you don't see it.</p>
